TDC has more than 1,000 specially trained customer service staff to advise on TDC's technical products and advanced services. In 2008 our customer service staff handled almost 30 million calls from our customers - as well as the thousands of letters, emails and personal communications in TDC's shops
30 million calls a year is the equivalent of over 82,000 calls per day, and although the vast majority of calls are handled with great satisfaction we must recognize that we have not always been able to handle the large volume of calls, and customers on can have frustrating experiences. In an organisation of TDC's size errors will occur, but we are working very hard to reduce the errors. Therefore, we have also launched a major internal project to improve customer service for each customer. We call it taking responsibility for the customer.
